Michelle's Story
My first experiences with photography were as a kid, hiking through the mountains with a disposable camera in my hand while admiring my dad's film camera, and trying to capture the same magic.
By high school, in those early moments of digital photography, you were guaranteed to always find a disposable camera tucked in my backpack. I photographed my friends around school and marching band so often that my classmates unanimously named me “historian.”

In 2018, I embarked on a new challenge with my first DSLR. Since then, I’ve gone “shooting” every single week and studied under my mentor, Pulitzer Prize nominee George Wilson, completing five photography courses with him.

Finding my passion for photography has felt a bit like one of those romantic comedies where the heroine realizes her true love was the friend by her side all along.

In January 2020, I sold everything I owned and moved from Orlando, Florida, to Seoul, South Korea, to teach English. In August 2024, now armed with my Canon and a teaching license, I moved again—this time to Hanoi, Vietnam—to teach 4th grade at an international school. And in August 2025, I found a new home in Rishon LeZion, Israel, teaching English again in a public school classroom.

Through all these moves, I’ve pursued my love for travel, storytelling through photography, and learning about cultures around the world by meeting people from every walk of life.

Here are my stories — and I’d love to help tell yours. I’m available for portrait sessions, entertainment shoots, and freelance photography projects. My prints are also available for purchase.
